Clearing ten rainbows at once is possible. Hell, I bet you could clear 15 or more. Based on the scores and screenshots I've seen we've all been thinking about it the wrong way. I don't want to give away too much but demione said there were nuances no one had picked up on so just think about that.

Clearing 14 is possible, but the score is less when it involves auroras???

I was working on a setup that would have cleared 10-11 with no auroras...but accidentally hit an eclipse during the setup...
I'm so going to get a monster score....

AHHHH
I had 11 setup with no auroras, took the photo of the setup and accidentally changed the tilt direction and lost it....anyway I now know how to set it up no problem...by level 2-3 I can have the 11 needed rainbows

Now I got a 7 chain today it has blown me off 950 million points and I landed on place 8 of worldwide top scores xD

awesome...got a mega starshine in level 3 or 4...then an ultra starshine in level 5...
the ultra starshine was part of a 4 chain, 26 trism, 566,935,683,798 point combo....so this game is up to 742,935,729,230 points and counting in level 5 with no locks and no bombs....
top game score is 775+ billion...I'm in a SOLID second place...and a shot at taking over 1st

Keep in mind that this isn't a chain -- it's a starshine.
Chains and starshines can each be used to score high points, but in very different ways.
