demione is the only one to decide this, so don't bother yourself :)

Basically needs to be an overall good trism player... A couple questions: What constitutes "good" for syllogism? What constitutes "good trism player"? About how many posts? How high is "high" scores? If that means the type of scores Zincous gets, then no way... (well actually, more than a couple )

Ok, let's wrap around things in here, shall we? First of all, you have to have something to test - that's the time when you need beta testers. Currently, it's not that time. Secondly, the afore mentioned "requirements" are basically a way to say: Not every new member can become a beta tester. You need to know the game in depth - not just by having a quick look at it. You have to know the tricks and hiccups, but as this is even less quantifiable than scores, demione decided in favor of the latter one. After all it's his decision alone - there are no specific or exact parameters to judge by. Although this isn't really an explanation, I hope it does clarify things and we can put this thread to rest, as it's original purpose got lost over time.

Well it's really all up to demione. So whatever he thinks shows enough of an all around player. There is no exact number or score or post count. That's why I was vague. It's not like if you hit X amount of points you become a beat tester or anything.
And I don't even know if he is looking for more right now, he might have enough.
Edit: Ok kamikaze posted that while I was typing...and beat me to it :/

So the best way to be a beta tester is to play a lot and wait for an app to come out that needs to be beta tested?

Well playing this app a lot doesn't necessarily mean you'll be good at a new app to be released. And again, we really don't know demione's position on beta testing. You'll just have to ask him in a PM like he stated above to do.

Click on "My Profile" in the top right of the site. Then on the left side of the screen will be a link for "New Message" and then put the username of the person you want to send a PM to in the correct box.
Or go find a post made by him (just scroll up a couple posts) and click the blue "PM" button that is on his post (it has two little people on the button in green and blue shirts)
OR just click this link to PM demione: *snip*
Edit: I removed the direct link to demiones PM-inbox for the sake of his own security / convenience. You never know, what google makes out of ot. Just use the given forum-ways, they are hopefully protected in some way. -Kami

Useless posts in an obsolete thread aren't nice either ;-) There is a beta forum to which only beta testers and demione have access. End of story. And this is definately no subject to discussion or change.
